I’m Nytarsha, a doctor of optometry specializing in whole-souled eyecare & designer frames. When I started Visionelle Eyecare here in Zionsville, my mission was to step outside the box by providing top-quality medicine in a modern, spa-like environment.
I know you want to feel like you know your doctor, and trust is earned not given, so here are a few facts about me to start our relationship:
Where I graduated: I received my doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia where I gained experience in pediatrics.
My professional background: I worked in a corporate practice in California and learned that I do NOT want a corporate practice! That's when Tobe and I decided to make a change here to Indiana.
When I'm not here:I'm a proud mom, a Harry Potter fan, and spend waaay too much time creating comedic videos for our YouTube Channel!
We’ll start with eye tests to understand your vision needs and detect early signs of health problems such as diabetes, aneurysm, brain tumor, high blood pressure or cholesterol, and vitamin A deficiency. Who knew an eye exam was so important!
This step involves initial diagnosis of any medical conditions, and a concept design for your eyewear, as well as costing, and planning. My team will provide you with an idea of overall costs based on the level of vision correction you need, and estimate a budget for glasses or contacts.
Once you approve the design, I’ll start sourcing products for your eyewear. You’ll receive detailed descriptions with costs of each pair of lenses & custom frames. If you’re satisfied with my proposal, we’ll move forward and I’ll make orders with my suppliers.
All the staff are kind and genuinely care about the patients. Dr. Nytarsha is the best! She is down to earth, funny and a joy to be around. She makes eye exams easy and not intimidating. She is thorough and makes sure to address all your needs. My husband also goes to her. My coworker was looking for a new doctor and definitely recommended her to go here. Trust me folks, you will not be disappointed.
