We add to our video library every month! Our videos are fun, and informative and tend to put our littlest heroes at ease by familiarizing them with the office, doctors, and staff.
Most kids think that they can see just fine even when they can't because they have never known anything other than the vision that they have always had. That's why all kids must get a full comprehensive eye exam yearly from an eye doctor. Going to a school screening or being seen by a pediatrician (as much as we love them) is not the same as having a full exam! During the exam, not only is near and distance vision checked but we also look at how the eyes work together, the health of all the eye structures, and even have a test that can predict future changes!
Hello Mom and Dad! Have you noticed that your little bundle of joy has a prescription that worsens yearly? At Visionelle Eyecare, we understand that progressive myopia can lead to eye health issues later in life, like retinal detachment/holes, glaucoma, and macular changes. However, we now have ways to combat this. Kids as young as 4 years old can start myopia control treatment that slows down the progression of their prescription. These options may include daily drops, contact lenses, or a retainer device worn at night (which leads to correction during the day without glasses or contacts.)
We automatically test your kiddos free of charge to see if they are at risk for progressive myopia. Let us know if you are concerned about any changes to their vision.

Dr. Thomas loves seeing her little visionaries the most! In fact, she started her career seeing only kids and helping them when their eyes weren't working well together. She is fun and looking forward to helping you see your best.

Dr. Kerwood loves building a long-lasting relationship with all of his patients. He loves doing pediatric exams, learning more about the brain and how it works, and fitting extra special contact lenses.
His superpower: X-ray vision, perfect for seeing through your eyes to make sure they are healthy
Tobe is very silly and loves making everyone laugh and feel comfy during their time with us! He does all the boring paperwork in the office.
His superpower: The ability to fly (he is also an airline pilot)
Coki does a little bit of everything around the office. She can help you get ready for the doctor and find the perfect pair of glasses (her favorite part). She is very silly and will probably make you laugh.
Her superpower: Supersight, the ability to see which frames will look the best on you!
Hannah is most likely the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when you call in. She is so nice and patient and loves kids and pets.
Her superpower: Ability to see the future, perfect for getting our patients on the schedule to visit us
