Your eyes definitely don't like being dirty. So there are three things to protect your eyes from dirt. One, your eyebrows and eyelashes trap things that try to get into your eyes. Two, you have a salty cleaning solution in your eyes called your tears that rinse anything out.
00:00:23:11 - 00:00:29:19
And three, your eyelids act like windshield wipers that swish. Swish. Swish.
Wipe everything out with each blink.
Ah, Nice, clean eyes.
you might already know this, but your tears also happen when you get hurt or you're sad and they run down your cheeks or they run into a little pipe that sends all of the tears down your nose
That's why sometimes when you're crying, your nose starts running too
00:00:55:15 - 00:01:04:11
Getting a lot of sleep is also good for your eyes because not only are you resting them, but you're also soaking
them in those tears that's clean everything up.
