Hello, and this is the T with Dr T.

Hey, y'all, did you know that if both parents are myopic or have nearsightedness, your child has a one-in-two chance of also having myopia?

But did you also know that if neither parents have nearsightedness, there is still a one in four chance that your child will have myopia?
Because of our lifestyles, more and more children are on the computer for four-plus hours a day. Mr. Johnson, MS, anywhere. Ooh, purple stuff. Mr. Thomas, you have a nap scheduled in five.

I see younger and younger kids needing glasses than ever before. Myopia has more than doubled from 20 to 40% in the last two decades, and by 2050, 50% of the population will be myopic.

What can you do today? Well, let's talk about recommended train time for your kids based on their ages under two, zero hours, two to five, one hour a day, and ages five to 15, no more than two hours a day. And after my kid finishes my taxes, I'm definitely going to reduce his screen time.

This has been the tea with Dr T, and I'll see you next time.
