Eyeballs are located in the front of your face so that you can see better. If you were located on the side of your head or in the back of your head, you probably wouldn't see very well. Hello?

Each eye sees from a different angle. If you look at an object, it might feel like it's moving when you cover each eye. That gives you 3D vision. If you could touch your eyes, they would feel like squishy grapes! Ewww. Don't eat your eyes!

Did you know that you have night vision? It'll take a while, but if you are really patient, when you sit in the dark, your pupils get bigger and they activate and might stick that helps you see a little bit better. So you'll start to notice that you see shapes, shadows, and movement. Did you know that nocturnal or night animals have really big eyes so they can see really well in the dark?

Some people have trouble seeing things that are close, things that are far, or having their eyes work together, and that's when they come to see me. We do a lot of different tests to see how you see, and some might include color vision tests like this one. If you can't see that there's a number in there, maybe tell Mom and Dad.

We also see that you can see things that are really far away, like the board in your classroom or things that are really close, like when you're reading a book. Some people see two things when there's only one thing. For people who can't see really well with their own eyes, we help them out by giving them glasses.

But don't worry, glasses. They're super cute and they're really fun to choose. Then you should art glasses. Since this lab and they put the magic inside so that you can see and voila, you have better vision. There are some people that can't see at all, no matter if you give them glasses or not. Look, people use special, really cool dogs to help them get around.

The dog tells them where to go and we're not to. Though some kids have a lazy eye. Meaning instead of looking at you when I point out or in or maybe that I just see very well. So sometimes we'll give kids a really cool pet so the eye that lazy can get strong very well. That's all the effects I have for you today.
